Sophie joined the BillyLids team in January 2026 after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. Originally from Hobart, she moved to Brisbane in 2022 to begin her studies and has been happily soaking up the sunshine ever since.
Sophie first connected with BillyLids through our student ‘Shadow a Therapist’ program. Her background as a gymnastics coach sparked her love for working with kids and taught her the value of collaborating with families and always celebrating progress along the way. Sophie prioritises a child-led, playful approach, making sure therapy is individualised and engaging.
Sophie is excited to continue learning and growing as a Speech Pathologist and feels grateful to be a part of each family’s journey. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her enjoying a craft, heading to Pilates, or listening to Taylor Swift.
