My name is Samara and I am a certified practicing speech pathologist at BillyLids Therapy. I completed my masters of speech and language pathology in Christchurch, New Zealand before coming home to Australia to practice.
I am passionate about providing a strengths based approach to therapy and providing client-centred care, working closely with families to help children reach their full potential. I have a particular interest in early intervention and providing assessment and therapy for early language development. I am truly passionate about helping children find their unique voice whether that be through AAC, natural language acquisition or traditional language therapy. I am also passionate about working with children to build their confidence and social skills.
My experience includes early childhood intervention, speech and language, literacy, AAC and fluency. I have diverse experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, selective mutism, CP and ID.
