Hattie joined the BillyLids team in 2026, after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Speech pathology seemed like the perfect fit for Hattie, combining her love of teaching with english and science.
Having spent much of her school and university years babysitting, Hattie developed a love for supporting children to grow and achieve their goals. She enjoys creating therapy that is both fun and therapeutically meaningful, and her passion for working with school-aged children on literacy skills has grown throughout her studies.
Hattie values therapy that is engaging, positive, and tailored to each child’s needs. She is committed to collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support children in reaching their full potential. In her spare time, Hattie enjoys watching rugby union and reality television, water and snow skiing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
