Elise joined the BillyLids Therapy team in 2026, bringing experience from paediatric private practice where she supported children and their families. She graduated from The University of Queensland in 2023, completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology with First Class Honours.
Elise has experience supporting children across a broad range of areas, including speech, language, social skills, fluency (stuttering) and low- and high-tech augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. She is passionate about collaborating with families, teachers and multidisciplinary teams to develop goals that are functional, meaningful, and delivered through fun, evidence-based therapy. She enjoys celebrating the little wins and brings warmth, positivity and encouragement to every session. Elise has undertaken additional training in developmental language disorders, literacy, AAC, speech sound disorders and early language development.
During her spare time, Elise enjoys going to the beach, reading, cuddling up with her cat and spending time with friends and family.
