Amelia is an experienced speech pathologist, having worked on the Gold Coast in private practice since graduating in 2019. Amelia graduated from The University of Queensland, completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology with First Class Honours. Amelia has been a clinical supervisor for early career therapists and been a clinical educator for speech pathology student placements. Amelia has experience working with clients across the lifespan in clinic and community settings, and via Telehealth. She currently provides clinic-based and community appointments for children. Amelia has broad experience collaborating with medical professionals, allied health therapists, education staff and other key stakeholders to ensure holistic care for her clients. Her clinical experience includes: speech and language delays/disorders, fluency (stuttering), literacy (reading and writing), social skills, low- and high-tech alternative and augmentative (AAC) communication systems, and paediatric feeding. Amelia is dedicated to ensuring that speech pathology services are accessible and meaningful to her clients’ daily lives, and is committed to enhancing her clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development. Outside of work, Amelia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, doting on her dog Wynter, reformer pilates and trying new spots to eat.
